Got my second Paul's Boutique bag now

I wrote about my new, and first, Paul's Boutique bag a while ago, and guess what? Now I have my second Paul's Boutique bag as well!
As you can see, I got both the bag and the matching wallet, since I am a huge fan of matching sets (I got a matching wallet for my first Paul's Boutique bag too), and both the bag and the wallet are really nice.

I also really like the details on this bag:
So Paul's Boutique is very quickly becoming one of my newest favorite brands for bags, and wallets I guess. And I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new brand to try, especially if you like very colorful and unique bags, like me!

Cute totes from Talented Totes

If you like simple cotton totes, but with a funny twist, these white totes from Talented Totes, for sale over at ASOS right now here, here and here, might be for you:

I personally prefer the Chanel one, very cute! But aren't they all?

My newest clutch

(just ordered off the ASOS sale, which has a lot of really great deals!) is actually a clutch I have blogged about before, here.

So I highly recommend everyone to check if any of the bags they have been eyeing for a while have gone on sale, I was quite happy to see this so heavily discounted, to be honest!

Just got myself another bag!

A cheapie this time, though, since I got this small bag by New Look:

The reason I got it was mostly that I fell head over heels for the matching wedges, that I also ordered, over at ASOS:

I am not completely sure that the print on both the bag and the shoes is exactly the same one, but the prints do look like they would match each other for the most part at least. So it was worth taking a chance with these purchases.

My new book clutch

I just ordered my first bag ever off Etsy. I've been really into book clutches for a really long time, but didn't manage to find one I really liked until now. But The Catcher In The Rye is truly a classic book, and I also liked the red color on this book clutch, from ChickLitDesigns, so I decided to get it:

This book clutch actually looks rather big in the pictures, so it will be interesting to see if it actually is when I get it too.

Either way, my first book clutch is really long overdue, so I am definitely looking forward to getting this!

What I thought of my first Paul's Boutique bag

I wrote a post about another bag I recently bought a while ago, but since this Paul's Boutique Lightning Elize bag was my first experience with this brand, I thought I would share some thoughts on this bag and brand after having used the bag for a while now.

First of all, this bag is truly very eye catching. I get so many comments and compliments whenever I carry it. The only thing that concerns me about this bag is actually how heavy it is, even when it's empty, that is a bit of a concern for me. The bag is also much bigger than I thought it would be, so I tend to only use this bag on days when I really need to lug a lot of stuff with me for some reason. Because it's certainly not an every day bag, due to the weight of it, and how big it is. (I use public transportation a lot after all, haha! And I don't want to be knocking things over in stores and such either!)

It is however beautiful in real life, and the quality seems to be quite good too. I also really like the little trinkets on the bag, they make the bag more interesting somehow. But it is important to mention that you can remove them, so if you are thinking of getting a Paul's Boutique bag, but don't like the trinkets, don't let them stop you! Just take them off instead!
I must mention, however, that the wallet I got was not as good. It looked just as pretty, but was not very durable. Both the zipper and the trinkets broke within a week, and the surface seems very easily scratched too, the wallet had scratches after just a few days. So while I was very pleasantly surprised by my Paul's Boutique bag, I wasn't as pleased with the wallet.

That said, I would definitely buy stuff from this brand again. And as a matter of fact, I already have! I will write an update on that purchase soon!

My new silver sequin clutch

I am generally not a big fan of sequins, but I found a pair of really cute silver sequin flats at H&M a while ago, and since I very much AM a silver person, I thought they could be nice for kind of dressier events, where you want to add some subtle sparkle to your outfit somehow.
But once I had the shoes and wore them a couple of times, I got the idea that they would be even nicer with a matching clutch bag. So I started looking for one everywhere!

In the end, I managed to find a bargain one, a completely nameless Chinese clutch, but with the same exact sequins as on the shoes, on Ebay. So of course I had to get it!

Here it is:

While the sequins could potentially scratch my outfit if I am not careful, since they are not protected by anything (I guess that's what you get when you buy cheap Chinese stuff online...), I am so happy with the sequins being exactly the same as on my shoes that I am really thrilled by this purchase!

Just goes to show you that not everything needs to be high end in your wardrobe or even accessory wardrobe by any means, sometimes cheap stuff off Ebay can make you just as happy!

My Marc by Marc Jacobs neon tote is here!

And since I've blogged about it before (see this post), I thought I'd post some of my own photos of the bag as well, so those of you interested in how well the store pics measure up to the truth can see what the bag actually looks like in almost real life:

You might remember that I got the matching little pouch as well, and while the pouch is smaller than I thought it would be, it's also really, really cute, so I think both the bag and the pouch were good purchases in the end, even if they don't really go with a lot of stuff, due to the rather unusual neon color:
But I think I will still be able to use this bag quite a lot. Especially this season, when neons are such a huge trend!
