My new Alexander McQueen bag

I am a huge Alexander McQueen fan, especially of his skull items, for some reason, but most of the stuff from this brand actually appeal to me. But it has still taken me a really, really long time to actually get an Alexander McQueen bag. I guess I just didn't find most of the bags from this brand timeless enough to invest in one. But now I have decided to take the plunge and order an Alexander McQueen bag I had been eyeing for quite some time on Ebay.

It's a white and black version, with the same print that I already have on one of my Alexander McQueen scarves, so I have a feeling I will be wearing both the bag and the scarf together sometimes.

This is, of course, a bag from an older collection, so I am glad I could still find it. Now I just wish I could find the matching flats too, I would love that!

Some bags from the Alexander McQueen spring 2013 collection

Alexander McQueen is one of my favorite brands, for both handbags, and clothing in general, so I am always a bit curious when I know one of their collections is coming out. The Alexander McQueen spring 2013 collection didn't really impress me that much handbag-wise though. The bags are just a bit too bland and un-special for my taste, I guess. Here are some examples:

I still need to get better acquainted with some of the other spring 2013 collections, though, so hopefully there are some real goodies to be found in some of them! Because Alexander McQueen didn't deliver like I had hoped this season, I'm afraid...

My new studded skull clutch bag by Licquorish

Sales give you an awesome opportunity to try new brands and styles, that you might not go for at full price. I got a bag at this sale too, from a new brand, that I was not very familiar with before: Licquorish. But the style is definitely something I have loved for a long time: skulls (a la Alexander McQueen) and studs (so on trend right now), so even though the brand is new, the style isn't.

Very cute Alexander McQueen lookalike cheapo from Fred Flare

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you might have noticed that I love anything Alexander McQueen, especially all the skull stuff from this brand. I still don't own an Alexander McQueen skull clutch though, so I am thinking of getting this really cute lookalike from Fred Flare instead:

At only $34, I would say this is quite a bargain! And so cute too!

New stunning Alexander McQueen De Manta clutch out

I've loved the De Manta clutches for such a long time, but this lace print one is really one of the prettiest ones in a long time:

And to make things even better, there is also a gorgeous pair of lace print leggings for sale over at Net-a-Porter.

I'm really thinking about getting both the bag and the leggings. I think they would make a great party outfit!

Sadly, but not very surprisingly it is already sold out at Net-a-Porter, so I am not sure if it is possible to get it right now.

One of the prettiest handbags I have seen for quite some time

If you know me AT ALL, you know that Alexander McQueen was my favorite designer of all time, and the brand still remains my absolute favorite today. And I love that typical Alexander McQueen style, with all the skulls and fun details. (I have quite a few skull pieces myself!)

So it's no wonder I absolutely LOVE this gorgeous brocade clutch from the brand:

I think it has to be one of the hottest, if not THE hottest bag of the season! It's simply perfection if you ask me. Alexander McQueen succeeds again!

As most people who know me know, I love Alexander McQueen. So I am extremely jealous of Stephanie Pratt's Alexander McQueen clutch, I think it it gorgeous, fun and original, all at once.

I want one too!

Pink dreams

If you have read my other blog, you know that I like pink. And that I adore Alexander McQueen. So this bag is simply perfection for me, since it combines all the stuff I like into one lovely little package!

I think this gorgeous Faithful Medium polished-leather satchel is a bit out of my price range at the moment, I have tons of other stuff I need to spend money on at the moment, so I did not see this beauty at a good time. Sigh!

There is a reason I love you, Lee

Alexander McQueen is probably my all time favorite designer. His work still amazes me all the time. I wish I owned more of his pieces, but sadly, a lot of them are just slightly out of my price range. But this Demanta Leather Skull Clutch is actually quite affordable.

I think I should get this, even though I have quite a few clutches already. But none of them are as cool as the Demanta! Plus, I really love big clutches, they just feel more contemporary than the small ones somehow....
