Mulberry's Spring 2013 campaign

Is a lovely under water themed set of shots, where you can see some of their new bags for 2013 as well. I must say I'm liking a lot of them!

These are my favorite bags out of the line, though:

The under water theme kind of gave me a flashback to when I visited the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, by the way, they have a lovely under water exhibition as well. So if you find yourself liking this campaign, you might want to visit there as well, for a similar, yet slightly darker, full experience!

Quirky new Mulberry Trompe L'Oeil bag

I always like Trompe L'Oeil bags, because I like unexpected things, and things that are not exactly what they look like, I guess. And one of the nicest Trompe L'Oeil bags I've seen lately is this Mulberry Maisie bag, that is made to look like a camera bag:

I think this would look amazing in other colors too. I just can't figure out what color would be the most "camera bag like" one. Black maybe? Or grey?

Super-cute Mulberry bag with zigzag detail

Which makes it classic, yet with a fun twist. I don't think you see zigzag details on bags nearly enough!

Adorable Mulberry bag with colored gemstones

I've liked Mulberry bags for years. I think they are just such classics, and I really admire how Mulberry is able to come up with so many ways to stay true to their roots and their unique style, without looking the same each time. One way Mulberry has re-invented themselves lately is with this Lily With Gems embellished suede shoulder bag:

I think it is just adorable, and I love how all the gemstones are in different colors (click on the pictures to enlarge them if you can't see that). I've always been a sucker for multicolored things, but often it can look a bit cheap to mix a lot of colors together. But not when Mulberry does it, of course!

Blake Lively with a beautiful blue Mulberry bag

As readers of this blog may already know, I love Mulberry bags, and I love them even more in fun colors. And Blake Lively has gotten her hands on a really beautiful one.

That shade of blue is simply gorgeous! Lucky her! (Even though she probably isn't too happy about someone snapping these pics of her in her rollers on the set of Gossip Girl. But I think she looks lovely anyway!)

Still no new bag

I still haven't gotten a new bag, despite having looked through tons and tons of online sales, as well as some in offline stores. Nothing feels 100 % right for some reason.
The thing that comes closest is probably a Mulberry Alexa in either black or a fun color (pink, green etc.), but I still have to give it some thought.

I simply cannot understand why I can't seem to find anything. Either I have become really picky lately or the bags left at the end of the season are left for a good reason indeed.
Oh well, at least there will be some new bags coming out for the new season soon.
