Charlotte Olympia's Mexican bag collection
I think this collection of bags is really, really fun. Although maybe not that useful, because where would you take all these Mexican bags, and not feel a bit ridiculous about it?
Charlotte Olympia actually branded this as a Cruise Collection, so she intends it for Mexican holidays, which is a nice idea, but wouldn't that just make you feel a bit too touristy?
I do think these bags would be really fun for Mexican themed parties, though, but how often does one go to those?
(see the bags on Charlotte Olympia's website, here, here and here)

How annoying!
When I fall head over heels for a designer handbag that is quite pricey, yet not all that useful, I sometimes spend a lot of time looking for a more wallet friendly alternative, just to satisfy my cravings for a certain quirkiness in a bag. This happened a while ago with Charlotte Olympia's Popcorn themed bag (see a post about that here) and the milk carton bag from the same designer (see a post about that here). I searched high and low for those bags, and eventually found some really nice alternatives. (Read the post about my popcorn bag here, and the post about the milk carton bag I ended up getting in the end here)
This is why it annoys me to see that alternatives for these bags have been made quite easily available over at ASOS now!
Ok, this happened quite a lot after I bought my "inspired" bags, and I have been carrying them around for quite some time already, but still, it will be annoying to see so many more of these around town. (which is generally what happens when ASOS starts carrying something)
But if you are still looking for a nice alternative to Charlotte Olympia's popcorn bag, check this out:
And if you'd like a milk carton version, you might like this:
That's all folks! Rant over!

What a Peach indeed!
My affection for Charlotte Olympia bags is hardly a secret, I do blog about them on a regular basis, after all. So I pretty much fall in love with each and every handbag released by this brand. And one of the latest Charlotte Olympia bags - called What A Peach - is definitely no exception.
Because the fruit theme is so me right now, I like it in all shapes and forms, and it seems a lot of other people do too. However, I have not seen very many peach varieties out there, so this Charlotte Olympia is really unique at the same time as it is very on trend too!

Like Charlotte Olympia?
But find her bags slightly too whimsical and impractical?
If so, you will be delighted to hear that Charlotte Olympia will soon launch a line of work appropriate office wear, according to Fashionista.
I really think the brand stands out due to the whimsical touches, so I think I will personally stick with the regular Charlotte Olympia designs, but I do think there is a market for this out there.

A great bag for Valentine's Day
I've written about Valentine's Day bags on the blog before (here and here, for instance), but it seems Charlotte Olympia does not only make really cool comic book clutches and bags that look like telephones, she's also created what might be the perfect Valentine's Day bag:
The bag is called Arm Candy - Be Mine, and you can get it over at Net-a-Porter, for instance.
(And yes, I do realize Valentine's Day is still some time away, but how do you expect to have the perfect bag for it, if you shop for that bag in the last minute?)

Another great Charlotte Olympia bag
Is of course the one called Chatterbox (I even love the names of Charlotte Olympia bags!), that looks like a phone, an old fashioned, simple one.
I would really love to get this bag, but then again, that goes for most Charlotte Olympia bags, it seems. So maybe it's really not that noteworthy...

The perfect bag for Halloween?
Another cute and cool bag that I absolutely love right now is Charlotte Olympia's Boo bag.
I really can't think of a more appropriate bag for Halloween, and what amazes me about this brand is how Charlotte Olympia constantly seems to create needs in my bag collection that I didn't even know I had! Who knew you needed a special bag for Halloween, for instance, or for going to the movies? But somehow, I am convinced that this is indeed the case when I see Charlotte Olympia's very cool and very fun bags!

Charlotte Olympia's Walk of Fame clutch
I am a huge fan of Charlotte Olympia's movie themed bags (see one of my favorites in this post), so it's no wonder I really like her new Walk of Fame clutch too:
If you've always wanted your own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, this is your chance to get one! Too bad you can't actually have your very own name on it too, that's the only thing I can think of that would make this bag even better!

New, gorgeous Charlotte Olympia bag: Movie Night
Charlotte Olympia never ceases to amaze me when it comes to new, cool ideas for bags. The latest proof of that is her Movie Night bag, that looks like a small popcorn bucket, the kind you buy at the movies sometimes.
Such a cute idea and definitely a must for any Charlotte Olympia fan! (Even though the popcorn buckets I personally buy when I go to the movies are usually bigger than this...)

Charlotte Olympia's Discover Brazil shopper
When it comes to Charlotte Olympia, most people associate her with her famous (and gorgeous!) book clutches. But she also makes other, really cool bags too. Such as this shopper bag, with a map of Brazil on it.
It is called Discover Brazil, and as a huge fan of maps in any shape and form, including on bags, I love the idea of putting a modern, cool map of this kind on a bag!
I really wish I had some kind of connection to Brazil now, so I could justify getting this bag, but since I don't, I think my old vintage map bag will have to do for now. But should Charlotte Olympia do this map thing for other countries as well, I'd definitely be interested if one of those countries was a country I had some kind of connection to!

Looking for a holiday themed handbag?
If so, this Charlotte Olympia Frostie bag has to be one of the cutest ones I've seen!
And I must say, it is quite reasonably priced for a Charlotte Olympia bag too. So even though one might not get away with carrying this all year round, I would still say it's a pretty good investment!
