My new milk carton bagI

I mentioned the bag I bought on Storenvy in a blog post recently, but I never actually showed it off, which is a bit of a shame, since I know how hard it can be to judge how similar to the images in a online store the actual bag is. So in case anyone else is interested in this bag, I thought I would show you some images of it.

I actually think it looks really similar to the images in the store that sold it, and while it is a small one, I actually use it more than I thought I would, and I am very happy with it! So I would definitely recommend getting this cutie!

Like whimsical bags?

If so, and if you don't mind a bit of bling, like rhinestones and sequins, the bags of Mary Frances might be for you. She makes a lot of really fun and cute novelty bags of all kinds, but with a significantly lower price tag than Judith Leiber bags have, for instance.

I must say I haven't decided if these are too bling-blingy for me personally, though. I am generally not too fond of bling, but I do love novelty bags, making it a bit hard to decide what I really think...

A bit of a weird Moschino bag

Normally I am a fan of Moschino and pretty much everything they make, and I also like motorcycle jackets quite a lot, but I have to say that the combination of the two doesn't really work for me, at least based on the motorcycle jacket bag Moschino recently released:

I would love this as a jacket though! But somehow it doesn't translate well at all as a bag.

I do like that the logo is small and almost not noticeable, though. But nope, I would not want this bag. So try again, Moschino!

Kim Kardashian's Christmas Present might be one of the most valuable handbags of all time

You see, she got a Hermes Birkin bag with a one of a kind art work by George Condo (whose paintings have been sold for over $1 million) from her fiancee Kanye West this Christmas.

I must say that I don't like this bag at all, though. As a woman, I would not like to have a bag with nude women on it, but art is of course always very subjective, so I hope Kim feels differently.

At least she can be sure no-one else will ever have a bag like this! And since she already has quite a few

Another Charlotte Olympia masterpiece

... is of course her Jukebox bag, which might have been even more fun and pretty with some more color, but it's pretty perfect as it is too.

I can't believe how Charlotte Olympia seems to nail it every time with her bags!

My new owl bag

I love owls, and always have, probably due to the myth that they are supposed to be smart. (Or is it a myth?)
So when I first spotted this owl bag over at Modcloth, I knew I had to get it!

It took me quite some time to get around to it, though, since my wish list over at Modcloth is super long by now, but this bag was just on sale (it still is!), so I I had no excuse to delay my purchase any longer!

(If you like animal themed bags, Modcloth also has similar fox bags, beaver bags, racoon bags etc., so I definitely recommend checking them out! I might even get some more animal themed bags from them myself...)

The latest Charlotte Olympia goodie to catch my eye...

... is the Record Perspex clutch, that looks like an old fashioned record, if anyone should happen to still remember those. I love it, due to the vintage feel of it. It's fun, yet historic at the same time!
