I am a huge fan of DvF clothing but I have never really looked into Diane von Furstenberg bags properly. I love this red leather tote though!
It's roomy, classic but still has a fun detail (the tassle) on it, to make it a bit more interesting. Perfect for fall and winter, to add a pop of color to any outfit.

Not too impressed
I usually love Bottega Veneta and everything they do but I have to say I am not too crazy about their bags for Fall 2011.
I think simplicity is often way prettier than trendy details, so I think Bottega Veneta missed the mark a bit there, by adding all that unusual texture. I get it that they want to try something new, but this is not the way to go if you ask me. Please, go back to flat bags next year!

Kim Kardashian has a cool bag too!
A Fendi Peekaboo, in a gorgeous blush color, to be more specific.

It kind of reminds me of a flatter Birkin bag. Such a classic shape and such a ladylike one too. I think Kim Kardashian made a great choice there!

Blake Lively with a beautiful blue Mulberry bag
As readers of this blog may already know, I love Mulberry bags, and I love them even more in fun colors. And Blake Lively has gotten her hands on a really beautiful one.
That shade of blue is simply gorgeous! Lucky her! (Even though she probably isn't too happy about someone snapping these pics of her in her rollers on the set of Gossip Girl. But I think she looks lovely anyway!)

A vintage favorite
This bag might not look like much to some, after all, it is not a designer handbag and the shape is maybe not the most modern out there, but I love it.
You see, I have always had a thing for maps. I think it is because I love travelling, and maps somehow makes me think of that. And besides travelling, I am also very interested in history, so historical maps are even better, if you ask me!
So I had been looking for a bag with a map on it for ages, when I ran into this one, in a vintage store. I immediately decided I had to get it, even before taking a closer look at it to see what condition it was in, so I was of course extremely pleased when I saw that it was actually in great condition and hardly even looked used.
I got it, and even though I don’t use it a lot (it simply does not go with a lot of outfits, but looks great with an outfit that is completely in one color, like an all black outfit, for instance), I love it, and the leather is really nice as well, and hasn’t worn or aged almost at all.
So if you ever get a weird idea of getting something that isn’t available in stores at the moment (when I got this bag, nobody had bags with maps on them, and it’s still pretty rare as far as I can see), vintage stores is definitely the way to go!

Woo, Jimmy Choo!
I am not very familiar with Jimmy Choo handbags, even though I am familiar with their shoes, of course. But I certainly do love some of their latest bags, such as this Scarlet printed glazed-canvas tote.
The pattern is both pretty and fun, but the bag is actually made of canvas, and I am not a huge fan of canvas as a material for bags. It is not as durable as leather, making canvas handbags a less good investment, if you ask me. Otherwise I would probably be all over this one!

Gorgeous blue croc bags from The Row
I've always liked blue croc bags somehow. I guess it's because blue is one of my favorite colors, and because I have some amazing bags in blue croc (my favorite is a vintage blue croc Versace, I really should show that off here one day!) already.
So I am very pleased to see that the Olsen twins like blue croc too. Just take a look at these two bags, that they designed for The Row. Just gorgeous!
